Streets of Southglenn

Large mixed use design built plumbing systems to accommodate 335,000 square foot facility and five story, 202 unit residential apartment complex.

Design build plumbing system consisting of mixed use retail and restaurant complex containing multiple grease interceptors and future waste pipe connection stubs, sand and oil interceptors trench and area drains to accommodate retail tenant loading area and mega interior five story concrete podium parking structure. In addition, future planned provisions for natural gas, water supply, sanitary and grease waste stubs, including significant roof, podium, courtyard and balcony storm drainage systems were provided.

202 unit luxury apartments complex consisting of roof drainage, Aqua-therm HVAC systems and upscale plumbing system including clubhouse and community center.

Contract Amount: $2,815,000 +/-

Trailhead Lodge

An 86 room, two story 185,000 square foot concrete podium, underground parking facility with four story lodge in the beautiful mountain resort community of Steamboat Springs, CO.

Complete plumbing and mechanical condenser water heat pump system for this luxury resort. Plumbing systems included upscale clubhouse and spa resort facilities, steam showers, shower and locker rooms, large centralized heat exchangers and piping to accommodate 86 residential resort suites, significant exterior site plumbing systems, pool facilities, water and gas features and snowmelt system designed by Mai Mechanical.

HVAC water source heat pump system consisting of two 5 million BTU boilers, 150 ton cooling tower, and heat exchangers with significant hot water and condenser water systems to accommodate heat pump, potable water and snow melt systems. MMC designed and installed over 17,000 square feet of snowmelt systems coordinated closely with complicated colored/stamped concrete armoring landscape features.

Contract Amount: $4,198,000 +/-

DTC IV Luxury Apartments

273 units of upscale luxury apartment residences constructed within a four story wood frame and concrete structure including five story concrete parking facility.

Plumbing system consisted of high end plumbing finishes and a mega centralized Aqua-Therm type domestic hot water and heating plant containing three 1,340 gallon storage tanks, three 4,100,000 BTU boilers, bronze multiple circulator stations VFD controls for energy efficiency and 6” diameter copper supply/return systems to accommodate Aqua-Therm fan coil units.

Contract Amount: $2,896,000 +/-

University Lofts

A 35 unit, six story, post tension and concrete luxury student housing facility over core and shell /mixed use retail, restaurant, over a two story underground parking structure, sand/oil interceptors, grease interceptors, trench drains, roof drainage system, sewage and groundwater duplex lift stations, carbon monoxide exhaust. Mai Mechanical Corporation provided complete plumbing and HVAC systems on this project while working closely with the Owner, Contractor and design team to accomplish over $450,000 in “Value Engineer Savings” to the Owner.

Shadow Oaks II

A 420 unit luxury condominium development including complete interior and finish plumbing. Various exterior sewer/water utilities and connections, backflow prevention, etc. Project construction consisted of various types of plumbing systems applicable to code requirements. Metallic and non-metallic systems, hot water heat, flue venting and all fuel and gas piping. Entire project was fast-track with scheduling intricacies due to geographical location, labor shortages, etc.

Contract Amount: $2,000,000 +

Lincoln Court Apartments

A project takeover consisting of 30 buildings. Completion of all plumbing systems in various stages. The building status varied from uncompleted underground to partially completed finishes. Complex scheduling criteria due to a six month completion referendum.

Contract Amount: $800,000 +/-

American Canyon Country Apartments

Modification of existing exterior hot water generation facilities and building construction and complete mechanical design criteria. Systems retrofit of four (4) boiler mechanical room structures and building enclosures. Installation of four hot water generation boiler units with all miscellaneous associated exterior supply and return piping.

Contract Amount: $160,000 +

Terranova Apartments

A 106 unit development including rough and finish plumbing, site utility extensions to property line with post tension deck over subterranean parking garages.
